Health & Arrival Policy
What we observe, what we document, and what every keeper must check.
Before collection or transport
We observe the listed fish for appetite, swimming posture, respiration, outward condition, and stable behavior. The keeper receives the available origin, feeding, care, and health information applicable to that specimen.
Keeper responsibilities
The receiving aquarium must be fully cycled, appropriately sized, securely covered, and ready before the fish arrives. The keeper must confirm destination legality and follow the acclimation instructions supplied for the specific handoff.
Arrival concerns
Any concern must be documented immediately with clear photographs or video and current water-test results. Contact us before changing medication, temperature, salinity, or water chemistry. The exact remedy, time window, exclusions, and transport terms are those written in the signed sales agreement for the specimen.
